Storyline

To the imaginary town of Villaggio Felice (Happy Village), built in the slums and home to poor families and lonely individuals, one day arrives Salvatore, the nephew of Toto`, the man who many years before had made it possible for many poor people to fly in the sky of Milan.  Salvatore has with him a number of colorful vials which he offers to the residents:  inside are specific potions that allow even the most impossible dreams to come true.  Among these people is Peppe, who lives in large cardboard box.  Marisa sees him and approaches him, convinced that he is the fiancée who died run over by a car on his way to get married in church.  Peppe would like to free himself from Maria but she won't leave him.  One day a Japanese company purchases some of the lots to build a mall and in exchange provides each resident with an apartment.  The people are happy but, shortly after that, from one house to the other there is screaming and cursing.  Outside of the Village harmony is gone.  Peppe and Maria who were homeless, are convinced by Salvatore to dream of their marriage and of a life together.  Salvatore boards his beat up vehicle unsure of where he will go, but invites all to follow him.
