Dio vede e provvede

The series Dio vede e provvede (God will take care of us) debuted in 1996. In one of the episodes Fiorello plays a priest who officiates the wedding between the main character, a nun, (Angela Finocchiaro) and a priest (Remo Girone).

Storyline

For a series of circumstances Amelia, a prostitute, finds herself in the place of a novice about to become a nun and finds refuge in a convent that houses, among other people, some young orphan girls.  This place, however, is at risk of being torn down to make space for luxury apartments but Amelia manages save the convent and to discover that she loves her new life much more than her previous one.

This television series has 12 50-minute episodes and was broadcast on Italia 1. The show was originally meant to be broadcast in six evenings but was halted after the third for lack of audience and restarted after two months, but still with results below the expectations.
