Johan Padan, born from the fantasy of Dario Fo, in 1991 for the monologue of the homonymic title Johan Padan and the discoveries of the Americas, is in reality a royal person, comic of all the "comprimari di bassa forza" who participate in one way or another and also not even voluntary to the conquest of the New World. This young guy from Bergamo, family of Zanni, another famous person of the Commedia dell'Arte, is a liar and an egoist but also tender and intelligent with the dexterity of knowing how to do the most colorful jobs. From caulk to stable-hand to the improvised doctor, from shaman to catechist, Johan is perfect for all jobs conquering the faith of all who is around him.
