VIP Watch Out for Practical Jokes - Fiorello is back at play on the radio

Florence - Radio and family, thinking of a new TV program for the next year.  Fiorello does not care much about what is hip.  He appeared recently  at a show in Florence to please some friends. 

«But this is my first Pitti» confesses Rosario as he takes off his hat caressing his (short) hair.

Fiorello, what about these white wisps of hair?
"What can I say?  They're there.  I don't color them and I never will"

Sign of maturity...
"Maturity is not measured by the color of one's hair but from what one has inside.  Right now I feel great, I am about to return to radio: tomorrow Viva Radio2 starts up again, a show with Marco Baldini". 

The adventure continues:  the first guest will be Carlo Verdone.  Will characters like la Russa, Moretti, signora Rita and her twin sister, the calabrese television?
"Radio is fun, and I feel like a radio creature and I love imitations: I will certainly do my characters again"

Despite the criticism by Sacca` after your practical joke to D'Eusanio?
"I like radio especially because you can have fun"

What about the camera?
"Right now it makes me uncomfortable, I feel like a living blob. Showmanship is one thing, but the cameras..."

But there are rumors of a new TV show
"I'll be back, I'll be back.  And again on Raiuno in 2004.  I just decided to take a break and to give myself a year off, away from television."

Apart from the guest spot on "Uno di noi" that gave Morandi a dizzying share.  But what does Fiorello himself watch on television?
"A bit of everything even if there aren't that many programs I do like but I won't mention those"

You have now passed your 40th birthday (see the white hair):  what memories do you have of the party you organized?
"The emotions I felt:  I was so taken with the organization of the party that I had forgotten to specify on the invitations that I did not want any gifts.  I had decided to have all going to benefit those in need. It'll be for the next time"

A thought of a generous man, such as those of living with a woman who already has a son.
"Why is that strange?  Children are never a burden.  On the contrary, they are a joy to have in the house"

Not everyone feels that way.  Maybe it should be repeated .
"I was looking for someone special and I found her:  Susanna.  I am not interested in women cut out of with a cookie-cutter."

What does Fiorello fear?
"I think I share this with the rest of the world, it's those things that keep people awake at night:  diseases scare me, and the war, poverty. Progress, as well, in one sense scares me"

Your scariest memory?
"Surely my father's death.  The most beautiful would be hard to say but it is not tied to my professional life but my private life, to serenity, peace.  That's it, the most beautiful moment is always the present"

Any regrets?
"No, I have none.  I believe that everything is experience and if you make a mistake, you learn from it"

Like your first screen test...
"To say the truth I never did any screen tests:  only one with Pippo Baudo who did not pick me"

For once Superpippo did not have foresight.  Speaking of which, what are your thoughts on the polemics around Sanremo?
"Nothing.  Right now I am focusing on my show Viva Radio2 on the air from 1,40 pm to 9 pm.  Practical jokes, imitations and a great desire not to take anything too seriously"
