First episode - April 6, 2002

First episode of Fiorello's long awaited show "Stasera pago io". Live from studio 15 of Cinecittà, made with the set designs by Gaetano Castelli, Fiorello comes back on television with the same cast of the first edition of the program, composed of the Sicilian trio, from the “old man” Tommaso Accardo to the “worn-out member of the family” Andrea Tidona to the exuberant Santino La Macchia. Every Saturday night, this year, Sicillian top model Eva Riccobono is at the side of Fiorello. For the first episode, prestigious guests will accompany Fiorello during this night. As a tradition the guests will perform with the entertainer and they will show themselves in never seen performances, creating totally new and unexpected moments of television. The international music will be represented by the extraordinary voice of Céline Dion. And then, the great Italian music will be represented by Gianni Morandi and Jovanotti. A great moment of poetry and dance will appear from the rare moment between Fiorello and the queen of the Italian and international classic dance, Carla Fracci, who will perform a spectacular dance. In this first episode Fiorello will be accompanied in the studio by the Roman actor Claudio Amendola, with whom he will do amusing gags. In the studio you will see the great orchestra directed by Leonardo De Amicis and the original choreographies of Luca Tommassini interpreted by the dance group and by the American "prima ballerina" Caroline A. Rice . The production is done by Duccio Forzano who also directed the program in the previous edition.
